Wine Fest is the premier annual fundraiser of the Ocean Isle Museum Foundation. Proceeds benefit the Museum of Coastal Carolina in Ocean Isle Beach and Ingram Planetarium in Sunset Beach.

Providing the tasting stations for this year’s event are Petrea Imports and Coastal Wine Room. Guests can enjoy great food, wine, music, live and silent auctions, and a “Speak Easy” room with gaming tables this year – while supporting these two wonderful local educational attractions.  There also will be a cork pull where guests can win an expensive wine.

Wine Fest will be 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. June 28 at the museum. Reservations are $50 per person and can be purchased in advance by calling 910-579-1016 or download the form below to mail.

2020 Wine Fest includes the annual Amateur Wine Competition conducted in cooperation with the Ocean Isle Beach chapter of the American Wine Society (AWS) and Silver Coast Winery. Amateur vintners compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals in various award categories. Wines will be judged by an expert panel of AWS wine judges, with the date to be determined.

2020 Wine Fest also includes an Art Contest. The theme of the Wine Fest is Back to the Roaring 20’s. Artists submitted their original art incorporating wine and the Roaring 20s theme. The Wine Fest Planning Committee chose the winning art (below), submitted by Terri Ballengee of Cary, NC. The high bid in the Wine Fest’s live auction on June 28 will win this lovely piece.
