Museum of Coastal Carolina We are excited to announce that under Governor Cooper’s 2.5 state opening plan we will be able to open to the public for Labor Day Weekend! Come join us Saturday from 10 AM to 1:30 PM and Monday, from 10 AM to 7 PM. Beginning Sept. 10, we will resume our regular fall schedule and open from 10 AM to 3 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
We will be opening with intermittent admission in accordance with the Governor’s mandate of distancing. Please be patient with us as we follow these guidelines. Masks, temperature checks and hand washing are required for entry. At this time, the Planetarium remains closed as it does not fall under the most recent opening mandate.

As always, we appreciate the support of our community and its visitors and can’t wait to welcome you to our Museum!

Admission: Most events are free for Museum and dual Museum/Planetarium members, active military, and veterans. Non-member all-day admission (includes NC sales tax): $9.50 adults, $8.50 seniors (62+), $7.50 children (3-12), free for age 2 & under

Present your same-week Planetarium receipt at the Museum and receive $2 off your Museum admission.

Ingram Planetarium

Due to COVID-19, Ingram Planetarium is currently closed.

Admission: Most events are free for Planetarium and dual Museum/Planetarium members, active military, and disabled veterans. Non-member per-show admission (includes NC sales tax): $9.50 adults (13-61), $8.50 seniors (62+), $7.50 children (3-12), and free for ages 2 and under.

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS, ENTRY IS NOT ALLOWED ONCE DOORS CLOSE FOR A SHOW.

Present your same-week Museum receipt at the Planetarium and receive $2 off your Planetarium admission.

Reciprocity with The Children’s Museum of Wilmington

By displaying a Museum or Planetarium membership card, a visitor can enjoy half-price admission to The Children’s Museum of Wilmington. By displaying a Children’s Museum membership card, a visitor can enjoy half-price admission to the Museum and/or Planetarium.

Non-members can receive $1 off regular admission to any of the three facilities by displaying a cash register receipt from a previous visit to The Children’s Museum, the Museum of Coastal Carolina, or Ingram Planetarium within the past seven days.
