There are six species of venomous snakes in NC: copperhead, cottonmouth, rattlesnake (timber, pigmy, and eastern diamondback), and eastern coral snake. Could you recognize one if you encountered it? Learn about these and other snakes from Matthew Bookout. In addition to educating you and answering your questions, Matthew brings along some live reptiles from his personal collection. A live snake feeding precedes Matthew’s presentation.
