Join us every Thursday at 11 a.m. for Sea Tales. Each week we will read a story representing one of the animals or exhibits at the museum and complete an interactive craft or science activity based on the story.
This week we will read You Are a Honeybee by Laurie Ann Thompson – Swish, swoosh, fly! You might have heard the words “busy as a bee,” but what do bees actually do each day? Did you know bees clean their rooms, help feed baby bees, and build the hive they live in? From birth to first flight and beyond, discover all that goes into being a bee. After the story we will move like bees and play a fun pollinator game.
