Each week we will read a story representing one of the animals or exhibits at the museum and complete an interactive craft or science activity based on the story.
This week we will read The Swamp Where Gator Hides by Marianne Berkes. Deep in the swamp, a gator lies hidden beneath a blanket of algae, quietly watching the animals around him. Follow along as ducks, turtles, deer, and other swamp creatures go about their day and discover what happens when the gator finally makes his move. After the story, participants will create a fun alligator craft.
