Each week we will read a story representing one of the animals or exhibits at the museum and complete an interactive craft or science activity based on the story.

This week we will read Aw Shucks! By Color and Grow Learning Press. Down by the harbor, a shy little oyster named Otto wonders if he’ll ever shine like the dolphins and fish above. But when the water grows cloudy, Otto discovers his quiet work makes all the difference. By filtering the sea and helping the ocean sparkle again, he learns that even small creatures can make a big impact. We’ll read Otto’s story and make an oyster craft that looks like him.
