Learn about the old art of canning vegetables. Terry Bryant will be giving some information about the process, as well as demonstrating it. Having grown up and worked on a farm, Terry has had a lot of experience with canning. She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge with those who wish to preserve vegetables rather than freeze them. Canned vegetables can survive power outages; frozen veggies cannot!

Terry Bryant has been the Executive Director of the Ocean Isle Museum Foundation, Inc. since 2012. Previously, she worked in the community college system and spent 7 years with the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher.
