Budding Scientists

September 28, 2019 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm America/New York Timezone
Museum of Coastal Carolina
21 E 2nd St. Ocean Isle Beach NC
Included with regular Museum admission.

Kimberly Belfer, the museum’s education coordinator, has some fun planned for young explorers who like to dig in the dirt and use their imaginations when playing with rocks, twigs, and sticks. In these programs, kids will get to play and learn the science of our local ecosystems. They’ll explore science, make crafts to take home, and perform experiments, all designed to help young kids learn, play, and grow. Each month features a different topic and hands-on activity:
September 28 — Amazing Animals — Learn about an animal specific to the coastal area.
October 26 — Creepy Lab — Conduct a Halloween-themed chemistry experiment.
November 30 — Super Saturday Exciting Ecosystems — Learn about an ecosystem that is represented at the museum.
December 28 — Fantastic Physics — Learn about the physical properties of water and Earth.
