From the freezing arctic to the blistering desert, many exciting ecosystems are waiting to be explored. Museum guests will adventure throughout the world, stopping at three different ecosystems: the rain forest, the arctic and the desert. Through hands-on explorations, participants will learn what makes these ecosystems unique and how some of their favorite animals survive in these vast, sometimes extreme, conditions.
Adults can engage in interactive discussions about each ecosystem, and younger guests can get their hands dirty through hands-on explorations for each ecosystem. The program will conclude with discussion of how all ecosystems are connected and what we can do to protect all of Earth’s exciting ecosystems.
