Full or partial virtual learning is a new experience for many families. In an effort to support our community during this uncertain time, the Museum of Coastal Carolina is hosting an assisted virtual learning program for Brunswick County students during the fall quarter. Students can bring their devices and course materials and meet with the team of educators from the Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium. Our educators will assist in content comprehension and resolving technical issues for students in first through fifth grades. The program, which begins on September 10, 2020, will occur on Thursdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Museum. Additional days may be added depending on demand. The cost for the program is $20 for two hours. Payment can be made weekly and requires a minimum four-week commitment. Due to social distancing requirements, space is limited to a maximum of eight students. As a precaution, masks will be required for everyone over the age of two, hand washing will be required, and temperature checks will be done at the door. Pre-registration is required and can be done through the following link: https://sites.google.com/view/levelupassistedvirtuallearning
If you would like to register or would like more information, please contact Education Coordinator Jamie Justice at [email protected] or call the Museum at 910-579-1016.
