Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium Are Currently Closed

The Museum of Coastal Carolina in Ocean Isle Beach and Ingram Planetarium in Sunset Beach are currently closed. We will remain closed through Phase 2 and reevaluate opening in Phase 3. Limited staff is on site daily and is prepping in anticipation of the upcoming reopening. Stay tuned! We'll share more information about our opening plans as we know more. Please note that these plans are subject to change depending on the status of our city and state. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you in the near future!

This is the time of year that we depend heavily on school groups, Family Day admissions, Golf Cart Raffle ticket sales, and Wine Fest, our major fundraiser that keeps us afloat as a nonprofit. This is a most critical time for this to occur financially, so we are in need of your support.

If you think about what Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach would be like without our two facilities during the year, but especially in the summer, we hope you find it in your hearts to support us to continue our educational mission and fun and entertaining efforts. You can mail in memberships and raffle tickets or call in donations by credit card between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily to 910-579-1016.

The health and safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff are our top priority. We will closely monitor the coronavirus situation and maintain ongoing communication with local health officials to determine when we can reopen. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
