Holiday Night at the Museum Fundraiser on Nov. 29, 2019/Festival of Trees

Holiday Night at the Museum is November 29, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Museum of Coastal Carolina.

This event is a fundraiser with special admission pricing. Tickets purchased prior to the event are $30 for adults and $10 for kids. Tickets purchased at the door on the night of the event are $35 for adults and $15 for kids.

Guests can visit all of the museum galleries and view the Festival of Trees, as well as enjoy live entertainment by the band Opportunity Rocks. The Dawg Wagon food truck will offer a varied menu, with beer and wine provided by Makai Brewing.

When you’ve finished your Black Friday shopping, come out and support the museum and planetarium!

Artificial trees provided by the museum will be sponsored and decorated by local organizations. The trees will be displayed throughout the museum from November 21 (soft opening) through December 14, 2019. The Grand Opening of the Festival of Trees is on November 29. Decorated trees will be placed in a silent auction. The tree sponsor will receive the highest bid on their tree.

Museum members and visitors to the museum during the Festival of Trees will receive a voting ballot to use to vote for their favorite tree. Additional voting ballots may be purchased in the museum’s gift shop: 1 vote for $1.00; 6 votes for $5.00; 12 votes for $10.00.

The Festival of Trees provides a wonderful opportunity to support the Museum of Coastal Carolina. It also provides an opportunity for local organizations to benefit from community exposure. There is a total limit of 10 entries for this event. The entry deadline is Sept.10. On Sept. 21 at 10:00 there will be a random drawing at the museum to determine where each decorated tree will be located.
