Presented by Brett Riggs, a local historian, this program explores the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution. Although often depicted in literature as glamorous and romantic, militia leaders played a crucial role in the War for Independence — part of a bloody drama that often pitted neighbor against neighbor. Although the South is more often associated with the American Civil War of 1861, it played an important role in the American Revolution.
