Come to Ingram Planetarium at 7:30 PM on April 20 for a special presentation of Two Pieces of Glass.  Learn about the history of telescopes and how they work. Following the movie, Planetarium educators will present a live star show in the Sky Theater that will highlight features of the night sky. After the star show, weather permitting, you can go outside and see the real deal. Members of Coastal Carolina University’s astronomy club will be on hand to show you how to view the night sky through several different telescopes, identify the stars and constellations you see, and answer your questions. If it is a cloudless night, you will be able to see Jupiter, Saturn, and the Moon. In addition, the Constellation Virgo should be visible in the East.
