When you think of a swamp, do you think of a murky, gooey, slimey environment? Think again. The nearby Green Swamp is filled with beautiful Longleaf pine savannas, rare orchids, unique carnivorous plants, unusual wildlife, and interesting inhabitants. Join Museum educator Ed Ovsenik as he discusses the Green Swamp in a series of three programs. Ovsenik’s Green Swamp topics are: Geology and Geography (Nov. 10), Plants and Animals (Dec. 8), and indigenous people (Dec. 29).

Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals will not be admitted once the show has begun.

Admission is free for Planetarium members. Non-member per-show admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors & students, $4 for ages 3-4, and free for ages 2 and under.
